Ordinal Linguistic Personification
So, today I discovered that I have a slight case of OLP (WIKIPEDIA PWNS: [link]), which is a "form of synesthesia in which ordered sequences, such as ordinal numbers, days, months and letters are associated with personalities."

Seriously, I've always seen numbers (1-10 mostly) and letters (only A, B, C, D, G, H, M, N, R, S, T, X & Y most strongly) as actual people with different identities, but I always thought it was just my imagination. Then, a few days ago my friend ~soopabunnie started telling me about this mental state that seemed to match up with what I live through--LOL, I started to think I had a serious mental problem. However, I googled up some shtuff and found that I'm not the only one who envisions numbers and letters as people. For example, my male 9 has the hots for my female 6, but the decent, well-cultured 6 looks down upon the cold, possessive and selfish 9 with much disdain (Ironic, especially if you think about the meaning behind the number, um...69...which is, in fact, a combination I don't like).

I have a similar view on letters, except personalities apply more directly to combinations of letters. Some words look and feel good together, while others don't. Some letters, when put together, actually feel like what they're supposed to mean (ex: establishment, institution, medication, triumph...). But, this might actually be a more visual and auditory interpretation of words, because I can't actually judge words without seeing how they're spelled or hearing how they're pronounced. Hmm...I still have no explanation for the number thing, though...

Crazy? Cool? Very much wrong? I don't know--I just thought it was a pretty big coincidence and awfully interesting. ^^
