So, apparently there is a sport that is more popular than quidditch in the American wizarding realm. It's called quodpot, and it's very similar to quidditch, except that there are no rules and the game is generally a lot more violent. Oh, and it uses an exploding "quod" instead of a quaffle. Suh-weet.
No-Rule policy, reckless violence, and random explosions.
Welcome to America.
Anyway, this was a drawing I did for *Lumosita
and her Harry Potter fanzine, Obscurus Presse
. The fanzine is an awesome project Lumo and her friends are putting together monthly with articles they write about the wizarding world. It's all in French, but it's still pretty damn cool--Check it out! There are plenty of online translators on the 'Nets.
As for the drawing itself--ROFL, SORRY FOR THE CRAPPED-OUT EXPLOSION. Lol, I just loved the idea of exploding quods so much that I had to add that in somewhere, despite my total lack of drawing skills in the explosion/perspective/prettymucheverything department. *D*;;
(Memo to self: Learn how to draw explosions.)
(Memo to self: Learn how to use perspective.)
(Memo to self: Learn how to not suck so hard. HAHA, EXPLOITABLE SENTENCE.)
